"So, what do you do?"

It's the question I get asked the most, and the one that rarely has a quick answer.

So I usually skip to the shortcut:

“Have you ever watched Billions?”You know Wendy Rhoades? That’s me — minus the ethically gray stuff.

Cue the lightbulb moment 💡

Why the Billions Analogy Works

It was actually a client who first made the connection.

And I’ve used it ever since, because honestly, it works.

Wendy Rhoades, the performance coach and in-house therapist to a billionaire hedge fund manager, is a fictional character...But her role in shaping elite minds?

Very real. Very relevant. Very close to what I do.

The Exception - I’m a trained Clinical Mental Health Therapist, Performance Psychologist, and Yoga Therapist. No TV drama. Just real change.

So…What Do I Actually Do?

If you haven’t seen Billions, or you have and still wonder how that connects to my work, here’s the real-life version of what happens behind closed doors with my clients.

Here's, What do you do?, the Billions Edition.

Mental Performance Therapy - Billions

Performance Optimization

I help high achievers (athletes, entrepreneurs, C-suite leaders, artists) train their minds the way they’ve trained their craft. That means more clarity, sharper focus, and fewer blocks that slow you down.

Emotional Regulation

Yes, emotional control is a skill. If overthinking, frustration, or perfectionism hijacks your productivity, we build tools to interrupt those loops, faster.

Decision-Making Under Pressure

Whether you’re in a high-stakes meeting or on a global stage, your ability to access your calm clarity can be trained. I show you how.

Navigating Power + Ethics

Success often comes with influence. I help my clients explore what it looks like to lead with integrity, without compromising results or losing themselves.

Leadership Development

Beyond strategy and KPIs. How do you lead from a grounded, authentic place? We work on presence, communication, and self-awareness so your leadership isn’t just effective, it’s embodied.

Personal Clarity + Identity

When your life is high-performing on paper but unfulfilling in practice, it’s not about doing more, it’s about understanding more. We explore how your personal patterns, mindset, and internal narrative are shaping your reality.

In Short...

I help ambitious people:

  • perform at their highest level without burning out

  • shift the mental habits that are no longer serving them

  • lead, communicate, and live with deeper alignment

Think: strategy meets psychology meets soul.

Why This Work Matters Now More Than Ever

We’re in an age where the outside world often applauds our success, while the inner world goes unnoticed. But what happens when you’re outgrowing the mindset that got you here?

Or when high performance starts to feel heavy?

That’s where I come in. To recalibrate your mind. So you don’t just keep going, you grow forward, with purpose.

Throughout the series, Wendy's role as Bobby's performance coach is multifaceted, addressing a wide range of psychological, emotional, and professional issues. Her work with Bobby is central to the storyline and explores the complexities of the human psyche in the context of high-stakes finance.

So there it is....the answer in somewhat of a nutshell (Billions Style)...to the question...

Disclaimer: Remember that Dr. Rhoades is a fictional character. Much of the show is dramatized and therefore do not adhere to the same ethical code that Dr.V or mental health/coaching professionals adhere to.
